Vein Affiliates

Laura Ellis is a member of the Vein Affiliates. Who are they and why are they important?

The physicians of Vein Affiliates are highly specialized, experienced and dedicated to the field of venous treatment, including spider and varicose vein treatment. All members must meet stringent criteria before they may join. All members must meet the following criteria.


•Trained in a surgical related specialty.
•Received additional intensive training on current venous treatment techniques.
•Must submit representative cases relating to all aspects of venous disease.
•Must complete continuing educational programs in venous treatment yearly.

Many of the physicians, like Dr. Ellis, are nationally and internationally renowned in the field of venous treatment. Publications ranging from tissue effects of laser vein removal to sclerotherapy have been written by many of Vein Affiliates surgeons. Almost all of the ongoing conferences on venous disease are taught by members of Vein Affiliates.

Because Vein Affiliates are highly selective, you can be assured that you the patient are receiving the best care possible at your local vein center. All of the latest advances and most innovative techniques for varicose and spider vein treatment are known by and available to all of the members.
